You can think of your “WebHost” ias the company on which your website is stored. For example; we use 1&1 as our WebHost so when you type www.iedouglas.com into your web browser you computer downloads our webpages from the computers owned and run by 1&1.

How do I get people to visit my website?
So; you have chosen and registered your Domain Name, designed and uploaded your website to your WebHost... Now you need to think of how to attract customers to your website. This can be done through small targeted adverts using GOOGLE ADWORDS or YAHOO SEARCH or via banner adverts placed on other peoples websites via TRADEDOUBLER or WEBGAINS.

How can I earn money from my website?
Our customers sometimes ask how they can earn money from their website if their website simply gives information and advice. One way of earning money is by allowing carefully selected companies to advertise on your website. You should choose companies which offer products or services which may be of interest to you website visitors and, typically, these companies will pay you a small commission each time someone makes a purchase after visiting their website from your webpage.
